Add a GameChanger Schedule to Google Calendar
Open your team in GameChanger, tap the gear icon, and choose Schedule Sync, then Sync Google Calendar. On iPhone, copy the link and add it in Google Calendar on the web under Other calendars, From URL. Use Filter My Calendar when you want to keep selected games or practices.
Two ways to add the schedule
Subscribe directly for the full team schedule, or subscribe through Filter My Calendar for selected events. Enable Live Sync during review to keep selected events updated. An ICS download is a one-time copy.

Sync the complete schedule directly
These steps use GameChanger's native Google Calendar connection. All events available to your GameChanger role are included.

Open your team
Select the team from the Home tab in the GameChanger mobile app.

Open Schedule Sync
Tap the gear icon, choose Schedule Sync, then select Sync Schedule to Your Calendar.

Choose Google Calendar
Select Sync Google Calendar. The next step differs between Android and iPhone.

Finish in Google
Approve the calendar on Android, or paste the copied URL into Google Calendar on the web.

Android
After choosing Sync Google Calendar, tap Continue to Google's Website and approve Add. The team calendar will appear under Other calendars.
iPhone or desktop
Choose Send Link and Instructions, then copy the link. Open Google Calendar in a web browser. Next to Other calendars, choose the plus sign, select From URL, paste the link, and add the calendar. If the plus sign is missing on your phone, switch to the desktop view or finish on a computer.
Google can take up to 24 hours to show changes from a subscribed GameChanger calendar. Google controls the refresh schedule. See the official GameChanger setup instructions.
Filter before adding to Google Calendar
Copy the team link, import it into Filter My Calendar, and select the events you want. Continue to review to choose your update mode, then create the filtered calendar.

Open the team
In the GameChanger app, select the team from the Home tab. Each team has its own calendar link.

Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the team screen.

Choose Schedule Sync
Select Schedule Sync, then choose Sync Schedule to Your Calendar.

Copy the calendar link
Use Copy Calendar Link if it appears. If GameChanger shows Send Link and Instructions, choose it and copy the URL from the share options or message.
The link normally starts with webcal:// or https://. Filter My Calendar accepts either format. Menu wording can vary slightly by device and GameChanger version.
Copy your filtered calendar's private subscription URL and add it in Google Calendar under Other calendars, From URL. To copy events into a calendar you own, download the ICS file and use Google Calendar's Import & export settings instead. That downloaded copy will not receive later updates.
Keep selected events up to date
Turn on automatic updates during calendar review, then subscribe to your filtered calendar. Live Sync checks enabled calendar links about every two hours. Changes to selected event times, locations, and other details appear when your calendar app refreshes the subscription. Cancelled or removed events leave the filtered calendar.
Your selection stays yours
Newly discovered events are available for review but are not added to your existing selection automatically. You can edit the filtered calendar to include them.
Subscribe to receive updates
A downloaded ICS file is a one-time copy. Automatic updates work with eligible public calendar links. Uploaded files, PDF and image imports, Google imports, and merged calendars do not support Live Sync.

If your GameChanger calendar is not syncing
Changed times have not appeared
Confirm the change in GameChanger first. With a filtered subscription, check that Live Sync is enabled and review the source's last checked time. FMC checks about every two hours; Google refreshes the subscription separately. This does not guarantee a two-hour update in Google Calendar.
Practices or new games are missing
Followers receive games only; staff, players, and parents or guardians can also receive practices. In a filtered calendar, edit your selection to include newly discovered events. Live Sync does not select new games for you.
The same game appears twice
Check whether both the original team calendar and your filtered calendar are visible. Hide the original to see only your selection. A previous ICS import can also leave a separate copy of the same event.
An imported file stays unchanged
ICS import copies events once. To receive updates, subscribe to the original team URL or a filtered calendar with Live Sync enabled. Merged calendars do not support Live Sync.

FAQ
Can GameChanger sync with Google Calendar?
Yes. GameChanger provides a Schedule Sync option for Google Calendar. On Android, the app can continue to Google to add the calendar. On iPhone, copy the calendar link and add it through Google Calendar in a web browser.
Why is my GameChanger calendar not updating in Google Calendar?
For a direct GameChanger subscription, Google controls refresh timing and GameChanger says changes can take up to 24 hours. For a filtered subscription, also check that Live Sync is enabled for the source. A downloaded ICS file does not receive updates.
Why does the schedule appear under Other calendars?
Adding a GameChanger URL creates a subscribed, read-only calendar. Google lists URL subscriptions under Other calendars instead of copying the events into a calendar you own.
Can I add the events to a shared family Google Calendar?
A subscribed GameChanger calendar remains separate from a shared family calendar. Filter My Calendar can create an ICS copy that you import into a calendar you choose, but that copy will not receive later GameChanger updates automatically.
Can I filter out practices or team events first?
Yes. Import the GameChanger calendar link into Filter My Calendar, select the events to keep, and continue to calendar review. Enable Live Sync if you want automatic source updates, then add the filtered subscription URL to Google Calendar through Other calendars, From URL.
