Add TeamSnap to Google Calendar

Use a TeamSnap subscription URL to view the team schedule in Google Calendar. If you need selected events or schedules from several sources, prepare an ICS copy with Filter My Calendar first.

First, get the link for your TeamSnap version

Original TeamSnap

Use the team's web Schedule → Settings → Sync Calendar / Export dialog.

TeamSnap ONE

Use the calendar icon in All Schedules and request the subscription email. Copy the individual team or all-teams URL.

Follow the illustrated link guide →

If the calendar is missing on your phone

Confirm that the mobile app uses the same Google account you added it to. Open its calendar list and make sure the team calendar is visible. On Android, TeamSnap also recommends checking the calendar's Sync setting; use Show more if needed.

Allow time for the subscription to populate. TeamSnap notes that updates can take up to 24 hours, so check the original schedule for late changes.

Import a selected copy into a family calendar

For selected games or a combination of TeamSnap, GameChanger, and school events, create an ICS export here. Import it through Google Calendar's Settings → Import & export, choosing a calendar you can edit.

FAQ

Can I add the URL in the Google Calendar mobile app?

Google says calendar subscriptions must be added from its website on a computer. Once added, use the same Google account on your phone to see the calendar.

Why is TeamSnap under Other calendars?

You subscribed to a separate calendar. Its events are displayed alongside your own calendar; they are not copied into it.

Why have new events or changes not appeared?

TeamSnap notes that subscribed calendars may take up to 24 hours to populate or reflect changes. Check the source schedule and that the calendar is selected for display.

Can I put selected events into a family Google calendar?

Import the TeamSnap link into Filter My Calendar, choose events, and download an ICS file. In Google Calendar on a computer, use Settings → Import & export to import that file into a calendar you can edit.

Why do I see the same games twice?

Check whether you subscribed to an all-teams schedule as well as an individual team, or imported an ICS copy while also showing the subscription. Hide one calendar to check the overlap before changing your setup.

Only need part of the schedule?

Import your TeamSnap link and choose the events to include. Your first filtered calendar is free.
